Craft Breweries & Distilleries in Fargo-Moorhead
Craft beer and spirits are well represented in Fargo and Moorhead. Taprooms and tasting rooms offer guests an opportunity to try locally created beer and alcohol made on site.
Fargo Brewing Company was the areas first full-fledged craft brewing company when it launched in 2010. Their taproom on the corner of University Drive N and 7th Avenue N in Fargo has become a hub for local beer aficionados. Award-winning Fargo Brewing beer can now be found at better pubs around the upper midwest
The Junkyard Brewing Co. taproom is a popular hangout in North Moorhead. The converted warehouse sits on 1st Avenue N and on summer evenings you'll find the garage doors open as patrons sip their brews and listen to live local music. Junkyard is a micro-brewery and has a constantly changing selection of brews on tap.
Drekker Brewing Co. is located in the heart of downtown Fargo. They produce small batch brews and have quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. They offer their free Grains to Glass brewery tour every Saturday.
Proof Artisan Distillers is Fargo's first craft distillery and tasting room. The company produces homegrown spirits including 2Docks Vodka, Minions Gin and will soon introduce their own barrel-aged whiskey as well. The tasting room offers a full food menu and sits next to the Sidestreet Grill & Pub on 4th Avenue N in downtown Fargo.
Two other local brewers not located downtown include Kilstone Brewing at 764 34th St N Suite R in North Fargo and Prairie Rose Meadery at 3101 39th Street S Suite E in South Fargo.
